I had to mention Google’s new favicon! If you don’t know what a favicon is, it’s the little icon that appears at the top of your browser next to the address bar. It’s also present in your favorites when you bookmark or “favorite” a site.
A while back, Google had changed their old favicon from the simple rainbow colored (G) to a stupid looking purple lowercase (g).
This may not seem like a big deal, but when you’re like me and have 15-30 browser windows going at all times, it makes it hard to find your way back to your search results page.
Thank you Google for the great looking new favicon!!!
